Hyderabad. Siddhanthi Pratap, a 29-year-old constable posted at Charminar police station in Hyderabad in Telangana, resigned. Reason: A few days ago, the girl's proposal was rejected due to the long duration of the job. In a letter to the commissioner, the constable has stated the reason for the resignation for 24-hour job, no weekly leave and nominal promotion.
In the letter, Siddanthi wrote - 'Police job is very difficult. It is not hidden from anyone. After graduation in engineering, I joined the police job in 2014. I did not get any promotion in five years. I saw that only officers of the rank of upper rank from SI, ASI in the department get quick promotions and other benefits. Many people who joined the job as constables retired from this post after 30-40 years. Because of this I do not want to do this job. '
